Biofuel Global
Your provider of Biofuel solutions
Our mission is to assist you on your maritime voyage to achieve your emmission reduction targets.
Why Biofuel Global
At Biofuel Global, we are committed to assisting our customers to meet regulatory sustainability requirements. We supply high-quality biofuels and derive biomass products, all certified under ISCC and compliant with EU RED II regulations.
Our primary focus is the maritime sector, where we hold strong expertise, experience and a global network of contacts.
The global fleet comprises over 100,000 vessels, making the maritime industry a significant contributor to carbon emissions, responsible for approximately 3% of global emissions. In response, the IMO and other regulators have established strict emission reduction requirements for shipping.
Within the next 5 years (2030), the shipping industry must achieve substantial reductions in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to comply with the Fuel EU Maritime Regulation. This begins with a 2% reduction in 2025, scaling to 6% by 2030, and accelerating post-2035 to reach an 80% reduction by 2050. In addition to this it also includes rapidly increasing emission expenses for vessels in European waters.
We are innovative entrepreneurs with a long-proven track record of developing successful business including rewarded companies.
Our commitment to being solution-oriented ensures that we tackle challenges with a hands-on approach and determination. We are active and dedicated in West Africa where we create sustainable solutions and development in rural areas.
